At Hazelgrove Nursing Home, our commitment to providing engaging activities for our residents extends to the exciting world of online Bingo. In addition to our traditional offline Bingo sessions, we’ve introduced an online Bingo experience that adds a modern twist to this beloved game. Residents now have the option to play Bingo from the comfort of their own rooms using tablets or computers. This online platform opens up a world of possibilities, allowing them to participate in the game at their own pace and convenience. Whether it’s a cozy afternoon in their room or a quiet evening, Hazelgrove’s residents can enjoy the thrill of Bingo with just a few clicks, especially with this bingo tips. The online Bingo experience also brings a social aspect to the digital realm. Residents can connect with each other virtually, sharing the excitement of marking off numbers and competing for the coveted ‘Bingo!’ moment. This not only fosters a sense of community within our nursing home but also provides an opportunity for residents to stay connected with friends and family members who may join in the online fun from outside the facility.

Our Montessori Way Of Life
Our Montessori way of life is at the heart of everything we do. We support our residents to be as independent as possible and look for ways to ensure a person can do something using positive risk-taking.
We focus on a residents’ strengths and abilities, their life story and experiences and use these to help them find purpose and feel valued in their day to day life with us. We encourage residents to partake in meaningful roles, such as helping with household chores, and activities that they enjoy which may trigger fond memories and engage their senses, including doing art, doing a puzzle, playing a game, chair based exercising, baking a cake or writing a letter. All of these pleasurable hobbies boost confidence and self-esteem and will be designed to match the person’s abilities.

I have worked in care for over 17 years, in various roles, working my way up to Registered Manager over the years. I believe it’s important to lead by example and to play an effective role within the service making sure we provide a loving and caring environment for our residents. My work is my passion – it’s more than a job, it’s a way of life. I feel most privileged to be able to make a difference in people’s everyday lives. Here at Hazelgrove, we want to create a “home from home” where residents, their families and staff live and work together in a family environment.

Today at Hazelgrove was all about celebrating our amazing gentlemen! 🌟 We transformed our garden into a cozy Man Cave 🏠 — the perfect spot to relax, unwind, and enjoy some of our favourite activities. 🎲
With a tipple or two 🍷🍺 and plenty of tasty snacks 🍿🍫, we spent quality time together before tucking into a delicious lunch of our choice! 🍽️
