Hazelgrove is a purpose built, single storey Care Home close to the local amenities of Hucknall town-centre
With a warm and friendly atmosphere, Hazelgrove strives to be a “Home from Home”, with a strong emphasis on caring for one another like family.
The Home embraces the David Sheard “Butterfly Model” of Person Centred Dementia Care, recognising the importance of living in the moment and realising that feelings matter most when delivering care, especially to those living with Dementia.
The Home offers a variety of single and companion bedrooms, and has a number of communal areas including a cinema room. Hazelgrove’s accessible garden is at the heart of the home, and includes a chicken coop with chickens, sensory plants, ample seating and an allotment area where residents are encouraged to grow vegetables for the kitchen.

Meet Your Care Home Manager
I have worked in care for the elderly for over 30 years, starting as a care assistant and working my way up to Registered Manager over the years. In this time I have worked in various settings, including residential and day care, affording me a good insight into all aspects of care. My work is my passion – it’s more than a job, it’s a way of life. I feel most privileged to be able to make a difference in people’s everyday lives. Here at Hazelgrove, we want to create a “home from home” where residents, their families and staff live and work together in a family environment.
