Meet the Care Home Manager
Briony Marshall
I started at Spencer Grove as a Care Leader in 2009, after moving to Belper from Barnsley. I loved this role because every day makes a difference to somebody’s life – it’s so rewarding. Since then, I’ve climbed up the ranks from Senior Care Leader, Head of Residential Care, Deputy Manager and now, I’m currently standing in for our Registered Home Manager while she is looking after her new baby.
When I’m not enjoying the company of our residents, I travel around the country with my husband in our T5 camper van. We’re keen walkers and have explored the majority of Scotland, Ireland and of course, our very own Derbyshire. We’ve also got 11 grandchildren and three great grandchildren – as you can imagine, this keeps me very busy!
