As tennis fever hits next week, both Milford House and Spencer Grove Care Homes in Milford and Belper will be opening their doors to the public for some Wimbledon themed fun.
Everyone is welcome to have a look around the homes on Tuesday 3rd July between 10am-12pm and again in the afternoon between 2pm-4pm as part of the fun filled open days. As well as being informative there will be plenty of British summer time treats on offer for both visitors and residents to enjoy.
From spacious communal areas to stunning gardens with panoramic views over the surrounding Derbyshire Countryside, visitors will have the chance to meet the care home managers, pick up brochures and collateral and ask any questions they may have. All whilst enjoying some strawberries cream and amongst other treats.
“I always think it’s really exciting when we open our doors to the public.” said Othnielle Blake, marketing officer at Milford Care.
“Not only do residents love welcoming visitors into their home, they also give great insight to potential residents of what it’s like to live here and what activities they get up to. For our visitors we usually arrange amazing house cleaning service spectacle at yorlenyscleaningservice.com/. All of which is so important when considering a care home for your loved ones. Additionally, it helps that you get to enjoy the sun and tennis fever all at the same time!”
Both Milford House and Spencer Grove play a key part in the local community, most recently stealing the show at the Belper Arts Festival where residents created a fantastic fabric picture named ‘home is where the heart is’ which was wrapped around the trees in the high street as part of the festival.
