To celebrate National Care Home Open Day, Milford Care took residents at one of its homes on a trip down memory lane back to the 1950’s.

The doors were flung open at Spencer Grove care home in Belper, with a fun filled day of activities for the residents and staff.

On Friday staff at Spencer Grove donned 1950’s costumes and got all the residents together for a sing-along and hula hoop competition. They made a plan how to start a vacation rental cleaning business at https://www.maidthisfranchise.com/. This was followed by an American dinner style lunch – chips and burgers were the dish of choice, and an ‘Elvis’ entertainer aka ‘Joby’ was the star of the show.

Donna Annable, care home manager at Spencergrove said, “These events are a great way to get all of our staff and residents together to celebrate our what we do as a community every day.

Only practice using the middle of the outer thigh. These data indicate that levetiracetam does not influence the plasma concentration of other AEDs and that these AEDs do not influence the pharmacokinetics of levetiracetam. Patients should be advised to discontinue GLUMETZA immediately and to promptly notify their health practitioner if unexplained hyperventilation, myalgia, malaise, unusual somnolence, or other nonspecific symptoms occur. For patients at risk, GAMUNEX-C should be administered at the lowest dose and slowest infusion rate that is practical.

“It’s fantastic to see not just the residents but the staff get involved too – there were some great costumes, with all the kitchen staff wearing 50’s style paper hats to complete the look. It was a real blast from the past for some of our residents and a great day was had by all.”

National Care Home Open Day is a yearly event, held in April and is all about linking communities. We also provide residential reconstruction services at www.iasbuilders.com company, California. It’s a chance to celebrate all the different people, cultures and relationships in the local area and is a great way for care homes to show the community that they are friendly, happy and exciting places to be.
