We believe that care should be uplifting, engaging, and full of meaning, so we embrace the Montessori approach.

By focusing on each resident’s strengths, abilities, and personal history, we create opportunities for them to feel valued and find purpose in their daily life. We encourage residents to stay active, participate in their community, and take on meaningful roles that give them a sense of fulfillment.

Residents might help set the table for meals, tend to plants in the garden, or assist in welcoming new residents. We offer activities that spark joy and connection, such as sensory-rich arts and crafts, reminiscing with music, arranging flowers, or reading aloud to others. Every experience is thoughtfully tailored to match individual interests and abilities, helping to build confidence and self-esteem.

We believe so strongly in the Montessori Care approach that we created a purpose-built dementia care unit designed to support meaningful activities such as writing letters, playing pool, caring for lifelike babies, and even enjoying a trip to the pub, all tailored to promote independence, confidence, and a sense of purpose.
