Previous experience of working in a Care Home or related setting is preferable, but not essential. We are looking for a Care Leader who can demonstrate great leadership skills to head a team of team leaders and carers. If you have an NVQ 3 in Health and Social care, experience in a residential care home setting, and are committed to delivering award-winning care, then we want to hear from you.

About you:

You must be a compassionate person with a passion for caring for older adults. You must be reliable and dependable, and committed to making a difference to other people’s lives. You need to be articulate and have good communication skills as well as great attention to detail. You will need to be able to demonstrate sound leadership skills as well as an ability to keep calm under pressure.

About the role:

The Care Leader will be responsible for the residential side of the care/nursing home. This includes supervising a team of team leaders and care assistants. They will liaise with residents’ families and visiting professionals, develop, write and review person-centred care plans, administer medication, as well as plan, deliver and evaluate care. Shift patterns will vary and will include weekends and bank holidays as and when required. Full training will be provided for the role.

Milford House in Milford, (based between Duffield and Belper), are currently recruiting for a new Care Home Administrator to work closely with and support the Home Manager. You will need excellent administration skills and be able represent the Home in a pleasant, helpful and professional manner, both to our lovely residents and to visitors.

Main duties to include:

  • Telephone and visitor enquiries (including sales);
  • Office administration eg. personnel tasks, petty cash, advertising and various reports;
  • Supporting the Home Manager with supervising various teams within the Home;
  • Managing suppliers and budgets; and
  • Other adhoc duties.

All applicants need to have excellent administration and organisational skills, IT literate and very good eye for detail.
