Spencer Grove opened in January 2009 and has since been exceptionally popular with residents and relatives alike. The home is professionally designed and built with older people’s need and wishes in mind based on our wealth of experiences in caring for people for over 25 years.

We've created a spacious home with unique facilities providing the very best in comfort and warmth in a stimulating environment. This was recognised in 2009 when we won 'Best Healthcare Development 2009' in the LABC East Midlands Building Excellence Award for Spencer Grove and Lady Well Views Close Care Retirement Apartments.

Our care home is however not all about its unique environment. We’ve developed our caring ethos over a period of 25 years and we’ve brought all our experiences together at Spencer Grove. We already hold the top Quality Rating from the CQC for a new home and the Quality Premium Award from Derbyshire County Council.

We've created a home with unique facilities, providing the very best in comfort and warmth in a stimulating environment.

Anybody over 50 years of age in need of the excellent social and/or health care we can provide is welcome to apply for a place at Spencer Grove. We also provide day care and respite care.
